David grew up in a winemaking family in the south of Switzerland. Armed with his dad’s 8mm, he shot everything from band music videos to an ad for his cousin’s mountain restaurant. Despite dabbling in economics, psychology, film, germanistics and even sports, storytelling kept pulling him back. After honing his style in commercials, he eventually created "Tschugger", a TV series where he also took on the main role. Now, he's busy cooking up his next project, and if filmmaking ever stops working out, he’ll just jump into the family wine business or become a professional skateboarder.
